My work deals primarily with water politics, political ecology, and processes of difference and inequality as they relate to resource access and socio-ecological changes. Previous work has considered these issues in the context of development and environmental transformation in the upper Tigris-Euphrates basin. Current work investigates narrative, citizenship and governance considerations related to water use, access, and infrastructures in underserved communities in Cape Town, South Africa and Accra Ghana; and first nations water governance in the context of Canada. I also have worked to established the International WAters network focused on research and training for water issues in the global South. www.international-waters.org. For more information: EDGES.
