Natasha’s research interests centre on how socio-economic power imbalances manifest and reproduce themselves in urban environments. Her dissertation work explores environmental politics and governance in small cities in West Bengal. It gives particular attention to the role of para (neighbourhood) based clubs as everyday governance actors. This research is conducted as part of the broader “Small cities, urban environments and governance in India” project with René Véron and Anna Zimmer. Contact: natasha.cornea@unil.ch. More info.
